Private Markets Investment Strategy

Creek Lane Capital’s Private Market’s investment strategy is to deploy capital into businesses that we can make better. We know that there is ample capital in the marketplace, so we leverage our relationship with the Walsh Group to be “more than a check”. 

Our private equity program is targeted towards industries that are somewhere in The Walsh Group’s supply chain, where we are either an existing customer or potential user of the product or service. Our venture capital program is tailored towards construction tech, property tech, or any other business focused on the built world. Additionally, we will opportunistically look at select fund investments.

We prefer to take direct, minority stakes in deals led by other family offices, independent sponsors, or private equity firms. Our typical check size is between $1-$10mm, and we aim to have meaningful influence on corporate governance via a board seat.
